The dog

Meredith Emerson is dead. Her dog Ella is not. Ella was found 50 miles away in a parking lot.

I was just getting ready to write a blog post about the missing dog and email our list of 30,000 to help find the dog. I have to inquire as to why the dog was not being vigorously searched for so that her family might have some living breathing memory of Meredith. Anyone that understands the bond with your dog knows that Ella the dog has kept part of Meredith alive.

I am reminded of this story from Katrina and hope you will read it. Click Here.

Thanks so much for finding out about her dog. I'm from Georgia--I kept reading this story over and over in the news with no one ever saying what happened to her dog. Obviously, she loved her animal and would want people to make sure it was okay. I, too, would think the family would have searched for and even cling to this pet as part of remembering and honoring her.

For all you hard work and time and effort and bringing ppl to terms after what took place in the states of the gulf that took the brunt force of Katrina.

You sir are a quiot hero. Never asking for anything, just doing what needs to be done. If Blogger had a websight to nominate a blog hero, It would be you via my vote!!!
