">Work has been underway for the last week to ten days for a full-
>fledged investigation into Pet Disaster Relief efforts during Katrina.
>
>What is needed is FACTUAL DOCUMENTATION - not rumors - not hearsay
>evidence - but people who are willing to come forward who have FIRST
>HAND KNOWLEDGE of the conditions in Gonzalez in particular and who
>are willing to testify if necessary.
>
>Flying off the handle won't help the issue - it will just do more
>harm to the investigative efforts.
>
>So - if anyone has DOCUMENTED FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE
>please send it to Diane Albers, FAKC and
>she will make sure it is placed in the proper hands.

You are a hero Eric -good for you to stand up and speak for the animals who can't. You have stayed centered in the face of disaster on many fronts. May God Bless you for the lives you have saved and for the ones that will be saved as a result of your humane words and actions.
GodSpeed Eric -- great work indeed!

don't forget the other people who helped you rescue bourban.
All should know that "we" rescued Bourbon. I just happen to have th blog. Throughout this site you will see pics and stories and I never ever pulled it off alone. I think 7 of us got that dog out and one little girl actually put on the protective suit that was needed.
Eric
Is Bourbon one of the dogs you're fostering? PLEAZ fill us in on the lucky pups that you brought home with you to care for until their families can be found.

All i have to say is AWESOME WORK guys! Man, does it do my heart good to see people like you doing what i wish i could do, instead of being cooped up at work all day! Keep it up. I was down in New Orleans yesterday and there are still so many rescues left to be made. Animals are scared at this point and not willing to come to you. It's a tough job and I'm so happy you are doing it! Keep it up, and the very best of luck to you.
yes! A heart-lifting picture.Thank You.
PS I used to have an old-v.old rescue Jack Russell called Eric!
