Please post more info. as to the breed of Max, and his/her age.
Please come to this board if you are a rescuer that is near the SUPERDOME or can call one NOW. We were just told that 8 animals are there, and are without food. Patches is probably one of the cats. Horror Story from New Orleans

I just returned from New Orleans where we spent the days in the citypulling animals from abandoned homes. While there we came across a womanin St Bernard's Parish who told us her neighbor was using the strays astarget practice and shot dogs "because they were there". I know this isfor real and not a rumor because I dug one up from a shallow grave in hisyard. The man is an avid hunter and is taking out these defenselesscreatures who were lucky enough to survive the hurricane but had no whereto go since the entire city was evacuated. The neighbor told me sheheard 3 shots and the dog screaming in agony because he didn't kill itwith the first 2 bullets. Sure enough, there were 3 bullet holes in thispoor dear who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She didn't knowhis name but I am asking one and all to write a note to this horridperson letting him know exactly what you think of his cowardly deeds.

It's bad enough that the cops in this parish shot the dogs of evacueesleft in a school gym all tied up. Now the people returning are doing thesame. Sickening.

I would like to tell you I watched your videos and cried and I can not believe that one were the lady went to jail for helping a dog .
I have 4 dogs and 4 cats, they are my kids right now they are aall around me.
Two of my puppy kids were from abusive home and I went to the homes and told the people what I thought then told them that they can give the dogs to me a person who can take them to the vet, feed them, keep them warm in a home or I turn you in!!! I still turn them in but most of the time the person hands the 4 legged kid to me.
With my yorkie she ws the worse case and it sill makes me mad. They broke her arm, cut her and burnt her with a ciggrette around her private . I got very angry, and I still do! Why people can be so stupid, or local law at that time did something about it(maybe because the chief of police was my uncle), but now around here nothin is done to the ones who abuse the 4 legged kids. When my uncle passed I put a picture of my yorkie in with him thanking him!!
I have told some people about your sight and said that they can see the truth there!!
